Refining in real time, creating with care, and honoring the stories behind the pitch.

Things have been busy — in the best way. And somewhere in the middle of all that movement, I realized I forgot to mention something kind of big:
We officially dropped our first podcast episode.
Funny enough, we actually filmed a few episodes last year. But after watching them back, there were things we wanted to tweak — how we framed things, what we said, how we showed up. So we pulled them. And we made the decision to restructure the whole show.
We took our time. And I’m glad we did.
The First Episode Is Out
Episode one features Thomas Bittings Jr., the founder of Goldilocks Smart Solutions — and a standout at our very first event, the LIFT Incubator Demo Day. Thomas was thoughtful, open, and real. One of the most meaningful moments was hearing him say that having access to The FundWave app during the event actually transformed his experience as a founder.
We put the episode on YouTube, shared some clips, and got great early feedback. People told us they loved the chemistry between Kevin and me — and that the tone felt different from most startup content they’ve seen. That means a lot.
Why We Started the Podcast

Originally, our idea was to amplify startups and teach everyday people how to invest in them — especially through equity crowdfunding. That was before the app existed.
Now that The FundWave platform is real and out in the world, we’re starting to think the podcast may zoom out a bit. There’s more ground to cover. More voices to uplift. More angles to explore.
Stay tuned.
How We’re Thinking About Guests
Kevin and I met through music, so our creative process is… layered. We don’t just hit record and go. We’re intentional — about the conversations we want to have and the stories we want to help tell.
We also take it seriously — the idea of speaking on someone’s dreams and startup journey. So one early decision we made:
If we don’t fully believe in a concept, we just won’t feature it.
This isn’t Shark Tank.
We’re not here to critique. We’re here to amplify.
What’s Next
We’ve started recording more. We’re working through ideas. And while I don’t want to say too much yet, some changes may be coming.
We’re thinking about how the podcast fits into The FundWave’s broader mission — and how it can continue building community and conversation around innovation, creativity, and support.
